Dear Parents/Carers,

We are underway with our transformation of the Reception Outdoor area. Thankyou so much to all those who have donated paint, plants, soil and elbow grease! Now we just need the weather to be on our side so that we can get all the painting finished. It is already looking very inviting, and the children are particularly excited by the pink tyres!

We have begun our Year 4 transition to the Middle School this week, with the first visit to Tweedmouth Middle School. It was an excellent experience for the children, conducted under very safe conditions. A similar visit will be taking place in a few weeks time for Berwick Middle School children.

On Monday, we will be moving onto Step 3 of the Government’s Roadmap. This means 2 households can meet indoors, which will have a huge effect on our children, as they will be able to play with one of their friends inside their house. As things start to open up again, our lives will feel a little bit more normal, and we will be able to plan things to look forward to.

Nothing will be changing in school for the time being. We are following the Government guidance as we have throughout, and we are remaining cautious. We have all worked so hard to get to this point, and numbers are currently low in Berwick. We are doing everything we can to keep it that way.

Take care everyone, and keep safe.

Mrs Robertson
