Learning outside the classroom is very important to us at Tweedmouth West and we use our own school environment and that of our incredible local area - including the Port of Berwick, the Elizabethan Walls, The Barracks and Museum, Granary Gallery, the Hirsel at Coldstream, Spittal beach, the Quayside, the Lowry trail, the Tweed riverside and spectacular bridges, the Five Arches Park and local supermarkets.

We have an extensive field and outdoor area adjoining our school with a woodland area, with little wooden houses - perfect for exploring and imaginative play. We also have a greenhouse, garden, willow tunnels and dens and a firepit!  We have special suits so we can go out exploring whatever the weather.
