Weekly Newsletter - 7. Autumn Term 2020

Dear Parents/Carers,

As you will be aware, in Berwick there have been several positive test results, and there are many families self - isolating.

We have had our first positive case at Tweedmouth West, and I am pleased to say the family are well, and self-isolating in accordance with the guidance. This did not lead to the closure of any bubbles in school.

Although the news of a vaccine is very hopeful, it is still a long way off. More than ever now, we need to make sure we are protecting ourselves and those around us.

We need to keep to the Government advice – Hands - Face - Space

In school this week there has been lots happening:-

Year 4 led our Virtual Remembrance Service on Wednesday. They did a splendid job, and showed how we can still make the important events happen in school. At the weekend, Isla laid our poppy wreath at the Tweedmouth War Memorial, and represented our school with great dignity.

We are taking part in the annual Children in Need event, and a huge thankyou to everyone who has made a donation to this fantastic cause.

Please take care of yourselves, and keep safe.

Mrs Robertson
